What Is an Acting Audition?
An audition is a short, guided performance in front of a camera and a casting team. You perform a prepared scene, you are usually given direction and asked to try it again, and the team looks at how you listen, respond and carry a character. It is not a test of memory or of technical polish.
For a first-time performer it can feel intimidating. That is exactly why we prepare people before they arrive rather than asking them to work it out on the day.

How We Prepare Newcomers
Once you register, our team helps you choose material that suits you, explains how the audition will be run and shows you what the camera actually sees. We cover the practical details that make the biggest difference: where to look, how to hold stillness, how to take a direction and how to reset between takes.
Our directors and producers work on our own film productions, so the guidance you receive reflects how casting is genuinely handled on a set rather than a general classroom exercise.
Workshops
How Acting Workshops Build Confidence
Confidence in front of a camera is a skill, and it is built through repetition in a room where mistakes are expected. Our workshops focus on scene work, dialogue delivery, expression and performing for the lens, with participants working in pairs and small groups.
Over a series of sessions, most people notice the same shift: they stop performing at the camera and start listening to their scene partner. That change is what an audition panel responds to, and it is the single most useful thing a newcomer can take into an audition room.
People of every age are welcome, from children to performers in their seventies and beyond. No prior acting experience is required to register, attend a workshop or audition with us.
How It Works
The Audition Process
Register
Complete the sign-up form with your details, age group and a recent photograph. There is no experience requirement.
Preparation
Registered performers receive guidance on choosing a scene, preparing it and knowing what to expect on the day.
Audition
Perform your prepared scene in front of the camera and receive live direction from our team.
Screen Test
Selected performers are invited to a full screen test with the production team ahead of casting decisions.
How to Prepare
- Prepare a short scene or monologue of 60–90 seconds.
- Dress simply — solid colours read best on camera.
- Bring a recent photograph and valid identification.
- Arrive 20 minutes early to settle before your slot.
- Hindi, English or Hinglish performances are all welcome.
